Our local carpet shop does it - is there a local carpet shop near you that might? Bound to be cheaper than somewhere like Allied.

SamboM · 19/05/2003 11:42

Oh I couldn't be bothered to change it in the end!

Metrobaby · 19/05/2003 12:20

Sb34 - try CarpetRight - the one near Thorton Heath pond rather than the one on the Purley Way as it has more variety. You can even take a square sample for a returnable £10 deposit.

Looks like you can buy Karndean and other flooring online here , SB34. Isn't it great looking stuff? Didn't know vinyl could look so fab- I have a long term hatred of the stuff in my kitchen. Might try replacing it with Karndean one of these days- looks like it's a bit cheaper than Amtico though still not dirt cheap. Did you put it down yourself edgarcat and do you think it would be fairly easy for someone who's a bit kak-handed? If you got someone to do it for you was that pricey?

sb34, if you have accidental cover, your household insurance might cover the cost of your flooring.

Just a thought, but have you tried 'Tile 'r' us. Just an idea but they might have it. I have also seen it in b&q in Ashford. I am sure someone will have some.

beech is good and not too dirt attracting. we latyes it diagonally and all visitors seem to like it.

Jimjams · 26/05/2003 20:58

Most carpet shops do it. We used it in a bathroom and a kitchen when selling 2 different houses. It fooled everyone- great stuff.

We had a light shade each time. It looked really good,
