lockets- it's quite hard to lift up kerbs and things. I know it's only got my ds in, but my three wheeler is so much easier for trains etc.

I by all means recommend the marco sky, I have a few friends buying it because of me! Maybe the newer model is easier to steer, but personally with the superior suspension and lightweight steering of a threewheeler, I'd lean more towards that.

lunavix · 17/05/2005 13:04

One of the reasons is three wheelers are very long, so you can manouvere them onto a bus or train standing back. Because a marco sky is an umbrella buggy, it's so short in the body you are standing at the step trying to push it up, which I find too stressful.

ooooo just seen the marco sky from other thread and ran in here cheering.... a buggy that is like the p&t but seat not under and it isn't as long as a tandem, not explaimning myself well as so excited thought i'd have to get a side by side and was dreading it!! I dont drive (bah hiss) and take busses so was dreading that also shops look like a nightmare. p&t was looking like only hope but didn't fancy kiddy under and then the hastle of sliding baby out with toddler on top or taking seat off first. also very pricey....

marsy, and ms owners, how is it on the bus? also shops? is there any offline shops that sell them so I can have a looksee and play with one?

champs · 18/05/2005 14:12

oy marslady!! need answers!!

MarsLady · 18/05/2005 14:15

keep your knickers on! lol

You can't buy them offline as far as I know (unless you live oop North). You are, however, welcome to borrow mine and see what you think. Brilliant on buses, in shops. Love it love it love it!

btw that means that I will see you properly and you can have a cuppa and see that the DTs really are as gorgeous as they look in their photos and really are slowly destroying our home!
