Any recommendations for best one?

It is primarily to use with Maclaren XT, though would ideally like to use it with Bugaboo Cam too.

Which pram do you use that with?

I use the Lascal 3G on our Maclaren Volo, it is really good once you get used to walking with your arms outstretched

i use mine on nipper 360 and its great on there. i tried on quest not so good im afraid, but think the handle height on techno will help.

I second the Lascal 3G maxi. We use it on a Maclaren triumph and M&P pramette. It's worth getting and extra lot of connectors if you have 2 buggies. I called cheeky rascals [http://www.cheekyrascals.co.uk/?menuId=91] when one of mine fell off and they sent me a set for free, despite the fact that I hadn't bought the board from them in the first place.

Washersaurus · 27/05/2009 21:27

I bought my board for 99p from ebay - it had a dodgy really worn wheel and no-one wanted it. Little did they realise spare parts are so cheap on the lascal website...hehehe

Daffodilly · 27/05/2009 21:34

Yes - I'm a bit worried about the arms out/back pain bit.

But it is that or carry my 18lbs baby while toddler is in the pram! Also = back pain.

I have a Lascal on an Inglesina buggy and I also use it on Maclaren Volo and it is GREAT. You can adjust it quite well so you don't need to walk too uncomfortably..

bohemianbint · 27/05/2009 21:40

Don't. That is my advice.

But then am having a vicious strop with my buggy board and may be slightly biased.

nicolamumof3 · 27/05/2009 21:41

i think you will find it better on xt tho because of handle height, i bought an extra set of connectors but as i needed to fit extender to board for nipper it wasn't worth having them tbh. as i had to alter it so much between pushchairs so i might as well take the connectors off as well. im currently trying to get my 3.5yr old walking more! we gave up double in Feb, now wanting to reduce use of board! mean mummy!!!

jkklpu · 27/05/2009 21:45

Daffodilly - board inifinitely better than carrying too heavy a baby in a sling. I finally gave up on my lovely Close sling when ds2 was getting close to 20lbs. I can't imagine going through the summer with that kind of package strapped on. And, depending how old/mobile your no1 is, s/he can walk up hills, step on to/off public transport and walk up and down steps. A million times better than having to fork out for/push a double, imo.

Goober · 27/05/2009 21:46

I broke my toenails on mine.

Washersaurus · 27/05/2009 21:47

Having said they are good; I always recommend the Mini Micro scooters over the buggy board though. DS1 has used his almost every day for a year - it has more novelty value I think. I rarely use the Maclaren with the buggy board as that is our 'in-car buggy' for shopping etc. I use a P&T usually.

Daffodilly · 28/05/2009 08:19

Thanks for all that.

I already have Phil & Ted for most outings, Bugaboo from DD1 (ah...those were the days) and a Maclaren for the car!

Am now considering a buggy board as we are off to Italy and need something to get around during the trip (don't fancy lugging P&T all the way there), plus will be good for car outings too.

I am looking to get the complete set of prams and paraphenalia - then I am expecting some sort of BINGO bonus prize!

I have spent more on prams/pushchairs/buggies than on my first car...
