OT has recommended one for DS (7) who has dyspraxia. Have 2 other children aged 5 and nearly 3 ... plus friends. Medium sized garden. Live in suburbs.

So, what size do I get? Any recommendations where to buy one from too? Thanks!

Best thing we ever bought for DS (*) and DD (4). Get the biggest you can fit in because you won't be able to enforce a one-child-at-a-time rule unless you want a full time job as trampoline patrol person. Not sure where you are but Wicken Toys, about 10 mins from the A5 just N of Milton Keynes have a fab selection and really helpful staff.

Best and most used £100 we ever spent! We have a 10 foot one which is ample size DS (5) and also fits DH on it as well! I would shop around, we got ours from a shop called the range. A lot of places often have offers where you get a free enclosure with it so have a look at the big places toysrus, argos etc.

I bought a 10 foot trampoline from ASDA last week for £97. They did have them online but have been out of stock there. Best thing ever kids love it their friends love it.
My dc's are nearly 6 and 3 and dss is 9 so great for all ages.

Oh and it comes with the enclosure too.

We have abig TP one - it is fab. We had borrosed a cheaper make beforehand - ours is much more srpingy...

mind you not so good for the old pelvic floor

cazzybabs · 27/05/2009 11:41

ohh and we got ours from wicken toys too and it was cheaper than anywhere else by about £50

castlesintheair · 27/05/2009 12:52

Thanks. Do you really need an enclosure for a 10ft trampoline?

We have the deluxe version. This shape is better if there is more than one child on at a time as they don't gravitate to the middle and bang heads. Definitely need an enclosure - too many A&E visits otherwise!

castlesintheair · 27/05/2009 13:14

Thanks Heated. DH has now informed me it will take up the whole garden. Is this really the case?! Even an 8ft one???

Yes we definately need the enclosure for a 10ft tramploine it is very springy and the children are very shall we say enthusiastic.

Argos to a 5ft trampoline for £50 dss has one of these and it is pretty good if space is a huge issue but you do lose bouncing space and are only supposed to have one on it.
