What kind of bucket/container should we use to hold drinks on ice at a party?

Got about 100 people coming, hopefully in the garden - got 2 guys to go round with trays but they advised we should also put out some buckets of drinks on ice for people to help themselves.

What kind of thing should we get, and where from? Can be pretty basic, but also stylish at the same time

An old baby bath?

A water trough?

Er, how stylish?
Homebase etc do big plastic buckets (about 2 foot across) pretty cheaply in their 'storage' section, we have used them for drinks on ice before.

I woudl also suggest the platic tub trugs, theya re great and you can use them afterwards for storing kids toys or in teh garden.
COme in lots of bright colours and you'll fit loads of booze in them

If you want something a bit more fancy you could use new galvanised bins like this which look quite funky

Brilliant - thanks all. The trugs look just right and actually a shop on our road sells them I think. The bin is def more funky - I would like something metal really - but a bit deep?

They're good Pannacotta. I see there are quite a lot of tin baths etc on ebay, but they're either a bit rusty or quite expensive ...

IKEA do mini dustbins for kitchens - could use those?
