Ok here is my invention unless it already exists and would love your feedback

I live in hilly town - always walking up hill, downhill etc

I have this fear i will fall over and pram / buggy scoots off down the road

I am sleep deprived!

However i was thinking about airport luggage trolleys and how you have to push the handle down to walk and once pressure is off the trolly does not move - so automatic breaking system

Is this a fantastic million dollar invention or is this the thinking of a sleep deprived new mum

ALSO would you buy a beautiful ID resin necklace that has your new babies ID number from the hospital, DOB, and name - as a funky piece of jewellery

Thanking youse - I obviously must create!

You shouldn't be telling hundreds of thousands of MNetters, you should be getting proper advice. Sounds like a good idea though.

I'm not really a funky jewellery type person, but it does sound nice

Does sound like a good idea, but I agree with Solo - you shouldn't be telling the world about it until you've patented it. If you're serious about it, I'd get the thread deleted.

There have been two cases here in Australia in the past year or so of a baby in a pram drowning because the pram rolled away down the hill into a river before anyone noticed. Prams sold here now must have tether straps that go around your wrist, but there might be a market for a pram that just won't move at all unless the handle is engaged.

Really, don't go telling the internets. If you have a good idea, get it patented first by a proper patent lawyer.
