Does anyone have a City Elite or City Classic? Is it easy to push with a toddler in? Stable? Very heavy to lift into car? Anyone used the car seat with it? Pram? Thinking of switching as our pliko p3 is very hard to push with toddler in, but I need an easy fold, decent sunshade and lots of head space.

we have the city classic and love it. it is easy to push and stable but i would say on the heavier side (though depends on what you're use to i guess) the weight is not a problem for me and i'm not the strongest person! (also we have a 4x4 so high boot)
we bought it for the all terrain wheels and the room - it is very spacious! our ds is 2 and tall but there is so much room. i can't remember what weight it go's up to but it is one of the higher ones. annoyingly we have been through a bugaboo and a micralite toro before the jogger we get on with the jogger much better. hth

sorry to bother you with more questions, but is it heavy to push up a hill? I know it weighs more but i find my pliko a nightmare to push up hill, and also found it hard with a maclaren, even though they are not heavy pushchairs. thanks for your help

i actually live at the top of a steep hill which i walk up at least twice a day. i think it's fine, though i think ds is so heavy now that no buggy will make him lighter! the ride in the jogger is smoother than the other buggy we have (which is a maclaren). does the pilko have tyres with air? or plastic? if they are plastic you will definately notice the difference as you only need to contend with your dc's weight and not every bump and groove in the road/path iyswim. i don't mind more questions btw!

Hi there,

I have the City Classic and absolutely love it. To be honest, I'd buy it for the one handed fold system alone.

I have used it around town shopping, on the school run and across the fields and its works well in every situation.

It is fairly heavy to lift into the boot, but no more heavy than other 3 wheelers and I certainly don't find it too heavy.

We have the car seat adapter and use it with a Graco Autobaby car seat. I find its fantastic as my dd (17 weeks) is right up high in front of me when I use it. We decided against buying the carrycot as she is never in it for longer than an hour at a time and is now able to go in the seat main seat when it is fully reclined. There is a soft pram (cocoon type thing) coming out shortly, its already available in the US but hasn't passed safety in the UK yet.

It is extremely light to push and very easy to manouvre with just one hand. It is also very stable as the childs weight is distributed over the rear wheels. Haven't used it with a toddler, but its supposed to be suitable up to the age of 5.

The sunshades on Baby Joggers are fantastic and come right down over the child which is great both in the sun and when they want to sleep.

My only criticism is that there is no clip to keep it closed when folded, although I don't find it a problem as I just adjust the handle to its lowest setting over the front wheel and this holds it nicely compact.

I used to have a MacLaren Techno xt and the Baby Jogger knocks spots off it.

By the way, I also have the City Mini which has all of the same benefits but is much lighter weight and more suitable for travelling on the bus.
