Please please help me get rid of mice....

I have been trying ultrasonic repellent devices along with traps with some success but I can hear noises coming from inside our walls. This evening we saw one running outside in the garden towards our house.

I suspect we have a nest living in the wall between our neighbours house and ours.

Any tips gratefully received.

Whenever there is a dead mouse in our house there will always be huge lies!

Thanks. I think I will go to the shop to check out the poisons.

Have any of you heard of a repellent that you plug in and it uses your houses electrical wiring system to emit a electromagnetic field which makes the mice very uncomfortable and in theory drives them out. It sounds good but having bought the ultrasoinic things with little success I am dubious (I wish there was a spell check on MN.)

Thanks again.

I'm not sure what the difference is between the ultrasonic and electromagnetic thing?

I've got something you plug into the wall and it's supposed to emit a loud noise which only mice can hear, but it's crap. Doesn't work at all.

what got rid of mice in our previous home was my dh sitting up one night to find out where they were coming in from and we blocked the holes and this stopped them when poison had notworked as the breed so fast, if you can stop them getting in they will not be able to get any food and die

other thing re cats not really a problem if you have a baby we had two when ds arrived, they were a bit put out but we all coped, we have never had mice here could be because of the cats
