Mine came next day - although they did skank me on the postage a bit.

I phoned up after placing the first order to ask them to double it - they made me pay 2 lots of even though it all came in the same package! Paid about £4, might complain actually...

Yikes!! What a rip off!!

Nelsons teething powder available in Boots!! I used to get boots own brand, but they are NOT with the children's medicines which is why it is impossible to find them.

They are with the "alternative" medicines why I do not know but there you go, try Boots.

Cheers Fizz. Might give them a go!

bought some Nelson's today at local pharmacist. Gave them to dd at bedtime. I'll report back tomorrow but if she sleeps through it will be the first night all week.

DH managed to find the Nelsons the other day; dunno if it's those, the beads, (or whether it would have settled down anyway) but the blister on DS's bottom has started to clear up, after over a week...

Got our beads yesterday and put them on DD. She put them in her mouth at first (whilst on her neck!) but then forgot about them. I then took her to MIL's house as she was staying the night and MIL had to take them off in the end as she was putting them in her mouth again and trying to rip them off lol. Will try again with her tomorrow and see what happens. I think her teething has calmed down a bit anyway so not sure they are of any benefit at the moment......

I think I read that it can take a couple of weeks for them to really kick in RG.

I wanted to come back to this as my two have been sleeping in theirs; I thought it was ok as they seem to not notice they're there and don't really mess with them, and they're quite short, but DH is a bit freaked out by it. Do you think that it is a problem for them to sleep in them?

I dont think it's a problem if they dont fiddle with them at all. DD was fiddling with hers tho so i probably wouldn't have been comfortable with her sleeping in them, although they are designed to snap if they are pulled hard. She hasn't worn them since Saturday but i might stick them back on her tomorrow afternoon (after she's gone to the creche).
