Lightweight stroller with tall handles

Hi I have a Maclaren Volo and am finding it too low and also the quality not as I would like
I would like your recommendations for a cheaper-£65 max, good quality, tall handled pushchair/stroller.
My daughter is 2.7yrs so doesn't need to lie back.
Would need hood and raincover though.
I have had a google but it takes soooo long to scroll through all of the descriptions for handle height, weight etc.
Thanks.

The silvercross ones are higher and I saw new fizz model on ebay for £59.99 last week.

I haven't got that model but have a pop and I can't fault it. My son is 2yr 7m too.

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/04/2009 16:57

Thanks. How long have you had it?

A Maclaren XT has moveable handles, but i think one would be more than £65

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/04/2009 17:06

yes definitly would. have found bargain pop and fizz on ebay but need details please of what they are like.

Hope your new pram is good, I've never tried that out before.

I have the 2008 model of the pop and I got it probably this time last year from ebay. I love the pop because it reclines fully (ds still has a nap every morning) and even with a heavy 2 year old I don't find it that hard to steer. The hood is a good size and I like the little things like the pocked in the hood and the cupholder.

I'm thinking of getting a fizz now to take on hols this year. All my prams have been silvercross so far (this is my 4th model).

I am hoping to try out jane and if I don't like, get a pop to try.
The pop does seem to have a lot of features which usually cost more.

Yes it's a reasonable price for what you get. My ds had the footmuff too but they're not that big and he's outgrown it now.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? Just wondered because you've got Dunoon in your nickname. I'm in Glasgow

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/04/2009 21:25

I am from Edinburgh. Not sure if I have ever actually been to Dunoon but would have been as a child.
I live down south in the garden of england now.
My DDs have very english accents.

Yeah don't think I've ever been to Dunoon either and yet it's about an hr away lol!!

I could send my ds down to talk to your dd and teach her some good scottish words lol!! Even I don't know where he gets some of it (but have a fair idea - Grandma!!)

My family lived in Glasgow for a year. Clouston Street near Queen Margaret Drive.
