Try Toys R Us - they have a range called "Just Like Home" which has sets of play food, tea sets, kitchens - various prices

John Lewis sell various sets of kitchen stuff (some better than others - toy food cans didn't last 5 mins here). In store if not online.

M&S have a good range of sturdy stuff too (toaster, plates, food etc). Top tip - don't be tempted by their toy kettle. The noise of it drives me crazy (it makes a noise constantly unless it is standing upright).

Was going to recommend the M&S stuff too. And yes completly agree with the darn kettle!

DD's "picnic box" consists of items form M&S, Tesco and Sainsbury. Admittedly the Sainsburys bit's were the end of Summer sale last year, so maybe now's the time to start looking out for them

IKEA sell really cute sets for peanuts. China, but unbreakable china. My niece is crazy for hers. They have a matching table service (plate, bowl, etc.) and tea set.
