Anyone have one of those funky Bilibo thingies?

This is a Bilibo, maybe I am just last to hear about it but seems fantastic to me although I am a bit [hm] about whether it would actually interest a child.

Every review on the net seems to be fab, but just wondered if any of you MNers have any thoughts on it?

Am thinking of getting it for my DS's 3rd Bday!

I think Ikeas do something which looks the same...at probably a fraction of the price

They have a few at our Surestart centre. They are played with a little but definately not the most popular toy in the room.
DS aged 2.5 likes to be whizzed round in it by me.

we have them in the toy library at work, never get used

We have a small one, and DSs play with it intermittently a lot. Be warned, quite often they need me an adult to spin them around in it!!

We have one. DD1 now 5.6yo liked to spin round in it when we first got it a couple of years ago, it's good for balancing, but it doesn't get used much anymore...

We have two (between our 3 dcs, aged 2, 6, 8) and they get played with intermittently. Maybe not for a few months, then out every day for a few weeks, sometimes used regularly. They are fantastic. Not just for balancing and spinning, but as monster helmets, as Grand Central Station when building traintrack, for water play in the garden, and for many other things - only limited by the dc's imagination. A good buy IMO.
