strollers with high handle height - suggestions please

Am looking for a stroller for ds, suitable from birth, but with a high handle height as dh is is nearly 6'6" tall. We had a Chicco London stroller for dd, and although it suited us fine in many respects, dh now saying that its really uncomfortable to push, so we're looking for something new. Have tried searching in all the usual places, and although you can refine your search in terms of brand, price etc, there doesn't seem to be an option to search on the basis of handle height! So recommendations please... many thanks!

Hi
Have you looked at a Stokke Xplory. The handle is height adjustable.

Hiya

My DH is 6ft5 and we have a Maxicosi Mura which has adjustable handle height.

DH is 6'4" and my mother barely 5' and the Stokke Xplory is wonderful. Not just for being extendable - you know that bar that runs between the two front wheels in almost all prams, just at the place very tall people need to walk? It hasn't got one, so their stride isn't hobbled.

It's actually pretty damn wonderful for a range of reasons, if you walk a lot in cities. (It's crap on all terrain, and a palaver to take apart and bung in the boot). It's narrower than most pushchairs (doesn't look it, but measures it), very manueverable, keeps the baby's face up from fume-height, and they can see masses and look about at more than a sea of legs. The bag is a tardis and the change bag clips onto the central stem, tucked away, unlike the usual satchel taking up space/hands.

It lies right back and sits right up facing front and back, and can be raised up very high or put down (for an older toddler) conventionally low. DS is 23 weeks, in it from birth, and adores it - I just took the baby insert out last week, too, and he is a big chap so it's sensibly made. The foot rest for the baby is extendable as well so it fits at all ages - so many buggies they either dangle from or are folded into. Best bit of kit we got, definitely. The price still makes me wince, but you use the thing every day for years, so it's worth it IMO.

Hauck infinity can be adjusted up or down- dh is 6'2"... and he uses it at normal setting rather than highest.

Maclaren XT and XLR v.high handled XLR is quite big/bulky/heavy folded though.

Lots of others with adjustable handles depends whether you want a buggy type pushchair or more of a proper pram?

Have had a look at these suggestions - thank you - I should have said I'm not looking at a proper pram/travel system as I have my Silver Cross sleepover and am happy enough with that. We're just looking for a light-weight umbrella fold to keep in the car boot and for taking on holiday, and really didn't want to spend too much... I'll look at the Maclaren ones more closely. I like the look of the Jane Energy. Ds is big, so perhaps the Jane Energy with a bigger seat will be best? Am surprised that these strollers don't come with a cosy-toes/raincover etc as standard, it all adds up doesn't it?!!

XLR comes with apron and can be got for about £160 if you look around b/new. but i found my xlr too bulky/heavy the XT is better both good size seats tho xlr is huge seated!
