Quinny Buzz 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler? I'm confused!

What would be the reasons for buying one or the other? Is the 4 wheeler much more stable?
I prefer the look of the 3-wheeler but not if it's going to tip over if I so much as look at it. Anyone got any thoughts?

Maybe I should have put bum sex somewhere in the title to lure people in.

Does anyone have an opinion on this?!!!!

I had the 3 wheeler. Stability-wise it was fine with the carry cot & chair unit but I wouldn't hang anything on the handlebar with the car seat hooked up to it. What aggravated me about it was that after a bit of use, the front wheels (because it's got double wheels in front set very close together - they turn as one unit) would jam up and the buggy that previously would turn on a dime wouldn't turn at all. It was very frustrating. I'd wind up WD40ing them which worked for a bit but then they'd jam up again. If I had to do it again I'd go for the 4-wheeler. Having said all that, if I really had to do it all again, I'd go for a Baby Jogger City or City Elite model. As it is, I recently sold my Buzz and got the Baby Jogger City Mini since my DS is now a bit older.

Hope this helped.

Are you talking about the new model?

I had the 3-wheeler, but old model. IT never tipped. Very stable in fact.

I wouldn't particularly recommend the Buzz. I mean, it wasn't dreadful, but I wouldn't buy another. Much prefer my PT.

I wouldn't recommend it either. I've got the 2007 model but I'm not madly keen on it. It doesn't go very upright in the rear facing position and it it isn't at all easy to steer with one hand. I've never felt it was going to tip, though, and it seems very solid and stable.

Thanks for the replies - you've put my mind at rest about its stability. I'm afraid I've been seduced by the Buzz Surely nothing can be worse than the 7yo Pliko that's finally died on me!

i had a 2006 model buzz (the 3 wheeler) my front wheel done the same as laraeo said, wheb i asked at the baby shop they said to spray it with furniture ploish as it has silicone in it,and NOT to use wd40 as it wouldnt help it,and it would wear away the bearings,
i really liked mine,it was so easy to clip the carseat onto as well, that was all i used with it as lo HATED the carrycot lol,so i sold it for something else!
it was really easy to push one handed, but you do need a shopping basket for it,

good luck x
