Hi all,

I'm a total novise to this all and time to buy a pram, some sort of travel system. Rather than buying online, I'd like to go and see and browse different types of prams in a shop so I can actually see and feel them. But which shops / where to go?? I have NO IDEA. Been to Mothercare and their range was really small and I don't want a Mothercare's own brand. I'd like to get a good overview on the major brands, rather than just one or two.

Any shops / pram centres mainly in B'ham, Oxford, Reading & London area? I've only managed to find online shops.

thanks so much if anyone can help. We're hoping to go this weekend.

xx

oxford pram centre were really helpful. but in the end we ordered from babyworld.co.uk who have a showroom in wallingford, i think. excellent customer service from both, but oxford pram centre didn't have the model we decided on. hth.

Thanks both! Kiddicare doesn't seem to have a showroom / store, just online which I'm not after yet (until I've seen them in real life).

Will visit Oxford pram centre though they seem tiny. Thanks for the Babyworld link too

baby centre, yews farm, nr rugby these guys have got a huge centre, its just the other side of rugby, about 1hr from oxford, Very good service and can see everything under one roof. (not necessarily the cheapest for prams though but you get to try). Definately worth a trip out but don't go on a saturday if you want to spend time talking to the assistants. they've also got a pram museum which is quite interesting.

theres also a warehouse place in witney, nr oxford but don't remember what its called but guess google might bring something up

I would definitely recommend John Lewis on Oxford St. They were really helpful, the sales assistant really knew her stuff and we got to try several types.
