Baby nightdresses - why only up to 3mths?

I love the nightdresses (also called bundlers, it seems) that are elasticated at the bottom as DS always needs changing in the night. Plus, I think it is nice that he can feel his legs as otherwise spends his life in trousers.

However, he's growing out of his 0-3mth ones at 2mths but I can't find any bigger ones anywhere - what's that all about???

Have a look in John Lewis. I'm sure I saw some in there on Saturday. Think I only saw them in pink though so you may have to help DS with some gender issues

Just been on JL website. They have some in white for £6. Look under the baby section, under nightwear. They are out of stock at the moment (typical!) but I saw some for aged 9-12 months on Sat so hopefully you will have some success

Ah....there were some in JL today, but only up to 3mths. will keep an eye on the website - thanks!

Is is because they can 'ride up' and get caught round babys necks or something. I have often wondered why they only do tiny ones.

I found TK Maxx a good source for some reason..at least up to 6m anyway. Though I might look into some JL 6m plus ones as DS2 is 4 months now and shows no signs of slowing down on the night time pooing

green baby do some cute ones that would be fine for a boy or girl and go up to 12-18 months. not cheap but they usually do 50% off in sales fairly frequently

(scroll down to the bottom and click on the pic, they also have plainer ones in the other ranges)

Piccalilly's spotty range is for 0-9 months. Brilliant for middle of the night nappy changes. You barely wake the baby!

Possibly more expensive than high street versions because they are organic & fairtrade cotton and don't use azo dyes, but absolutely gorgeous.

I stock them as gifts with the matching hats so I've been able to compare sizing, but you can buy them individually direct from Piccalilly's website www.piccalilly.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=23_47&products_id=199 for £16

What about a light sleeping bag with long sleeved vest underneath?
