Does anyone know anything about these, can't seem to find many reviews. Am tempted to buy one over the Phil and Teds Sport but feels a bit unknown. (am a buggy virgin!)

I've never had one, but a friend who had one for her newborn and 18 month old hated hers. Hard to bump up pavements sue to the back seat lying right back and you cant get to the brake when in recline.

ceb80 · 07/04/2009 21:47

that's interesting as I would want it for a newborn. He's 10 days old and have not got my buggy yet!

bless you, come over to the pushchair shed for some pushchair chat!

ceb80 · 08/04/2009 19:14

I would do but have no idea what you guys are on about half the time! Just need to get myself a 3 wheeler so I can walk the dogs and the baby at the same time plus fit it in my car with the dogs too.

That looks nice, will have a scout around for a picture of it folded. That was the main bonus for me of the easywalker in that it folds so small as the back wheels fold in too.

nipper does fold in small the wheels remove as do most 3 wheelers, its the weight of the nipper that is fab, lots of three wheelers are heavy but this is super light!

ceb80 · 09/04/2009 19:50

Not sure if the picture that I've seen of the easywalker is misleading as the rear wheels seem to fold inwards meaning you don't have to remove them. This is a bonus for me as the buggy will have to go on the back seat as no room in the boot with the dogs! So this will mean less mud etc on the seats.

or is it just showing the buggy folded with the wheels off and stashed away?

Nipper is very light though compared to the other 3 wheelers

I have the double and absolutely love it although I don't often take it in and out of the car. Don't know if the single is the same but my only gripe with the double is that the shopping baskets aren't that great.

sazm · 09/04/2009 22:02

i think its showing it with the wheels off (thats what i had to do with my phil and teds to get it in my little car)TBH i think most 3 wheelers do this,

ceb80 · 11/04/2009 15:02

That's a shame. Have got a big car but also 2 big dogs who take up all of the boot!

Weddingcake do you have a double Nipper or Easywalker?

Double Easy Walker - sorry should've been clearer!

ceb80 · 13/04/2009 20:19

Do the wheels come off easily on the double weddingcake? presume the single would be the same....

Hi,

I have an easywalker, and yes the wheels come of really easy - just push the button & they come off.

That picture is definitely with wheels off, but in the folded buggy.

We bout a duowalker for 2 of my children who are close in age, but loved it so much we also got a easywalker sky (single)

its an absolute dream to push when your off roading it, it will go over anything inc pot-holes.

I completely disagree with 5intheEgg, i found both the duo & the sky very easy to get up the kerbs, all you need to do is push down on the handlebar to lift the front wheels up - the suspension makes this incredibly easy, and then just push normally and the back wheels just mount the kerb by themselves.

I was shown this by the guy in the shop where i got it from. he called it the pavement test.

I hope this helps

dadof3monkeys · 02/05/2009 14:17

After reading 5intheEgg's post i just went and got my sky, to check the recline & brake.

When the seat is in full recline it does not stop you from accessing the brake at all, all the recline does is fall int the view of the brake, so you cant see it, however it is still very easy to operate.

With regards to getting up pavements - i cant see how it would make any difference - the head part of the seat must be at least 30-40 cm's off the floor which is plenty of clearance for a pavement.

The only snag is that if you use the easywalker buggy board, it does block the access to the brake - however i believe this is different on the easywalker QTRO due out anytime.

QTRO is a 4 wheel version btw
