CROCS - in search of some tiny ones (2-3UK)

Looking for some for my DD in anticipation of a good summer. She has tiny feet (Start-rite: 2.5E, Clarks: 3E) and I just don;t know where to find her some summer shoes.

Can anyone help?

TIA

They sell them in Costco

Hangingbellyofbabylon · 21/03/2009 17:33

next had teeny ones last year, labelled at 6-12 months or something - fitted my dd when she was a size 3.

iwontbite · 21/03/2009 17:37

mothercare had some

personally i'd go for some nice, properly fitted sandals myself. they'll last longer and be better for her feet

Lindenlass · 21/03/2009 17:42

jellyegg.com sell 2-3 size crocs.

Crocs are very good for children's feet, so long as they're real crocs, not cheap imitations made of the wrong stuff.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 21/03/2009 17:45

I think crocs start at a 5-6. I disagree with iwontbite though, they are one of the best things you can put on your childs feet as they mimic 'barefoot' so well.

Lindenlass · 21/03/2009 17:58

the crocs sizing is different to UK sizes though - the jellyegg site explains it all clearly.

bronze · 21/03/2009 18:00

was going to suggest jellyegg they do go tiny as dd has some

SweetApril · 21/03/2009 18:21

Lindenlass & Wherethewildthings, where did you hear that they are good for children's feet? 2yo DD has worn them almost since she could walk and loves them because they're the only shoes she can put on herself. Then I read on here recently that they were really bad for LO's feet. But I can't really see why. I was planning to buy more for summer but I know DD will practically live in them so I'm a bit wary now...

FeelingLucky · 21/03/2009 18:45

Thanks for the Jellyegg link.
I'm a bit confused by their sizing though - there seems to be a difference between Croc size and UK size - have scoured the website and can't find an explanation.
For those who have ordered ffrom there before, if my DD is Baby UK 2-3, would I go for Crocs 2-3 (which is Baby UK 1-2) or Crocs 4-5 (which is Baby UK 3-4) ???

Would also be interested to know about whether they are good for children's feet or not. I just find mine so comfortable, despite being so ugly, I imagined they would be good for anyone's feet

All the sites that sell them say about how good they are for feet in general - it makes sense they're good for children's feet too. They're anti-microbial so no risk of bacterial problems. Children are best barefoot and crocs are as close to barefoot as you can get. They're loose-fitting so don't put any pressure anywhere, which is the problem with having ill-fitting fitted shoes.

I used to be really anal about my children having brand new fitted shoes all the time, and still am, except for crocs, which I actually think are better than fitted shoes because it's so easy to see when they're too small so you don't risk any problems with that regard.

I'm certain they're good for posture too - my back is only pain-free when I wear crocs, which is annoying as they're not exactly beautiful shoes for adults! But they're kind of funky and they're so, so, so comfortable, so I put up with them . Anyway, I figure if they're good for my posture (and I do yoga so mine's not bad anyway!), then they must be good for the children's posture too.

Lindenlass · 21/03/2009 18:50

if you go on the main crocs website, I think there is a chart you can print off that you put their feet against to check. My DD3 is in 4/5 crocs and they will fit her for some time - they were massive on her last year - her clarks shoes say 4.5 in them. HTH.

EldonAve · 21/03/2009 18:52

the crocs site says C2/C3 = UK 2-3

akermaz · 31/03/2011 20:00

what you need are the Crocs littles, they only come in a size C2/C4 which is a the tiny kids size 2-4. I've seen them on www.twobarefeet.co.uk and they also have Free postage if you live in the uk. here's the direct link - twobarefeet.co.uk/acatalog/Kids_Crocs_Littles.html

NotaMopsa · 31/03/2011 20:01

akermaz · 05/04/2011 22:02

Hi NotaMopsa, have a look on twobarefeet.co.uk/acatalog/Crocs.html

They've got loads of styles and free UK postage!

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/04/2011 22:05

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/04/2011 22:09

If you click on the ? by the side of the shoe size on the individual pages it takes you to the sizing guide. You can also search by size on the left hand menu bar on my first link

fairimum · 06/04/2011 12:28

CultureMix · 11/04/2011 23:13

I found some teeny ones for my son at Sportsdirect - they had a whole stand of Crocs with a few of the 2-4 sizes. I didn't expect it, had gone in for some new trainers for myself, so that was a good find. Those Crocs were perfect as that was the summer we did potty training so had to be rinsed down a few times...Grin.
