...have about £100 to spend.I dont mind if its upright or pull along but it must be able to suck up cat hair.I am sadly excited.I have never had a good hoover before!

(Is that how you spell 'Vacume'?It doesnt look right to me)

I bought a Vax on Sunday, it is a green one, under £100 and realy gives the carpet a good clean.

Sazisi · 20/03/2009 09:16

vacuum

andlipsticktoo · 20/03/2009 09:16

Vacuum I think!

I have a Dyson Stowaway and it's fab.
Great suction, loads of extra attachments including a wooden floor attach. which really helps. Easy to empty etc and quite compact.

Sazisi · 20/03/2009 09:16

I think looks wrong now

fishie · 20/03/2009 09:17

miele

vacuum

only word with uu in english.

Songbird · 20/03/2009 09:17

Vacuum

Sazisi · 20/03/2009 09:19

I think the Dyson stowaway might be out of budget...£250+ isn't it?

TheGreatScootini · 20/03/2009 09:21

Ah yes..I think 'Vacume' is 'empty space'..

My mum has had her Henry for ages; think they're around £100.
She has 3 dogs so pretty good on pet-hair

Sazisi · 20/03/2009 09:24

No - that's vacuum too

Molesworth · 20/03/2009 09:31

Henry! They're £99 (or a bit less if you shop around on the internet) and very well made and reliable. The best hoover I've ever had

wotulookinat · 20/03/2009 09:33

I have a Dyson stowaway and I find it rubbish.

TheGreatScootini · 20/03/2009 09:45

So what you are telling me is that there is no word spelt 'vacume'

I had wondered about a Henry..is he bagless?

OP posts:

Sebo. Brilliant. Bu tno idea how much they are, as I was given mine by a friend who emigrated.

Molesworth · 20/03/2009 10:42

Henry is not bagless, but the bags are cheap and don't need changing very often

squilly · 20/03/2009 10:44

Miele's are great, but over £100, unless someone knows something I don't

extremelychocolateymilkroll · 20/03/2009 11:00

We got our Miele for just under £100 from Hughes Direct.

squilly · 20/03/2009 11:24

Oh extremely...thanks for the link. Wish I hadn't bought my Dyson now
