Please advise me on rugs!

Help! We have a conservatory which (obviously) is the place where we come in and out from the (muddy) garden and where now our two adorable kittens come in and out from the (muddy) garden.

At the moment we have a terracotta tile floor which is beautiful but cold and two cream rugs which aren't that cream any more. (In our defence they were purchased pre-child and pre-kittens).

What would provide a hard-wearing, either easy to clean or not show the dirt floor covering? It doesn't have to be snuggly warm underfoot, just protect our feet from the chill (we use the conservatory as our dining room).

Any advice (and links!) appreciated!

OK - I know it's not remotely exciting as a topic and obviously it would be better if I were looking for rugs with naked men on them, but doesn't anyone have any suggestions??

OK what about something like this or this

Both are listed as hardwearing. I think DS1 had a carpet in the second fibres in our old house (was 5 years ago so can't remember) and it was easy to clean.

Nice website though.

What colours would you consider?

I meant DS1 had the a carpet made of the same fibres as the second one. Sorry. Half that post didn't even make sense.

Or these claim to be washable here

Ooh thank you Niecie - both those first ones are just the sort of things my brain had in mind but I could not think of the right search terms! The colours are right too - something neutral would be perfect (although the red border would clash with the terracotta so would look for an alternative for that - but at least I know the names of the materials I'm looking for now!)

Thank you - have bookmarked them to show to DH!
