I work with children and my very expensive car seats are getting covered in all sorts or junk. I'm trying to find liners to fit maxi cost tobi's but having no luck at all. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

maxi cosi sell covers don't they? they def do a summer cover....

they do covers but I want something more like a liner. I have about 14 different children in and out of the car seats each week, sometimes eating, some have cats and dogs so hairs get on the seats and also don't want them to fade in the sun. Ideally wanted something fairly inexpensive that I could change daily and would also withstand a lot of washing.

Oh also, don't want to have to rethread the harness. Not sure if you have to do this with a cover? How much washing would a cover withstand do you think?

ahh yeh,m you'd def have to re-thread the straps.

i can't find anything that wouldn't have to have the straps through actually... do you know anyone with a sewing machine???

Stop them eating in the car for a start

ok well it's not technically a car seat liner but this phil and teds buggy liner doesn't need to have the straps through it and ought to fit in a car seat i woulkd imagine

You could get a custom made one from Snunkie or Chunkle-Munkle.

thisisyestersay I have a sewing machine - maybe I might have to knock something up. Although I am rubbish at sewing! That link looks good, might possibly be too long though? I will try and find one in a real shop for a test. Fingers crossed.

Soupdragon, have thought about it but it's just not practical. Plus they do love a good car picnic and I hate to be a grumpy pants. My car is a bit of a shed but the car seats are bloody epensive so don't want them ruined.

pebbles79, the snunkie site asks for a passowrd but does look really nice and chunkle-munkle looks like they don't do car seat liners but the other stuff is amazing!

You could ask Sarah at Chunkle Munkle, she's normally quite accomadating, the same with Snunkie. I think the Snunkie website is only available if you use internet explorer though.
