Wooden playhouse

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good playhouse? Preferably wooden rather than plastic. ELC have one, which we are tempted by, but it looks a bit too small. We are looking for something between £100-£300, attractive, fun and easy to put up!
Thanks in advance

we bought a gorgeous wooden playhouse for our girls last summer, it's called Snowdrop. It has a little set of stairs and small 'loft area' for them to play in. Goggle image it,and you should get lots of options for buying it online. I think we got it from Walton's.

we got one from freecycle and i love it so much. we almost all had our lunch in it today (we're in Central Scotland and it's February!!!)

I agree with KM. Buy a shed you can get a decent one for around 100 odd quid. Paint it, put curtains in it etc. Our garden shed was turned into a playhouse for me when I was little and I loved it. Youc an even carpet it as well.

(we have a shed too that's exclusively for kids bikes/trikes etc etc...IME the mistake many people make is thinking the playhouse will house all these toys).

also have largish shed for bikes and larger garden toys.

I want one with a slide that goes over the roof which I've seen in the USA but not in the UK. The closest I can find to it is this which is very ££.

But am sort of tempted by thisshed

Our kids had a great wooden playhouse but they preferred to play outdoors so now its got chickens in it. Now, if you can do me a lovely adult hideaway....

Hi,
Thanks loads for all your suggestions. I probably should have said that our girls are one and nearly three, so I think a play house will be more fun for them than the shed - although it sounds like a good idea (and cheaper too!). We've also got a garage, so the playhouse will only be for playing in, not storage.

There's some great ones on the Waltons site - I hadn't heard of that site before. I do like the look of the Snowdrop house ramonaquimby - thanks!

I love the ones with slides too, but we already have a slide, and also, I think I'd worry about the one-year-old falling off the steps. Wish I had something like that when I was a child though!

Know others have different experiences of this company, but our experience has been just terrible.
No communication
missed delivery
didn't want to sort the problem out because "that's not the way it works here!!"
Having to escalate to Directors
I would not be able to recommend them to anyone based on our experience and the level of service offered.
