Any reccomendations for Matress Covers?

I am looking to move DS up to a normal bed, and want to get some kind of waterproof sheet / mattress protector as we have a good matress I would like to get more than a few years out of it!
Any recommendations for good ones - I'm not sure how much rustling and sweatyness can be avioded...
Thanks

the wet and dry blanket from great little trading co is great
Doesnt rustle is soft, really absorbent and can be washed and tumble dried. Is also smal enough to take on holidays.

Hippychick ones are fantastic - can be bought all over the place, Boots, john lewis etc.
take a look

We have Hippychick one in cot and it's fab. Can be washed up to 90 degrees and tumble dried. We got ours cheap in a closing-down sale but I suspect they might be a bit pricey.

We have just bought this for dd's new bed, she had the same for her cotbed which I am now sleeping on (9 months preg & worried about waters breaking not just mad!) Is completely waterproof & not at all sweaty & has been fabulous. I cannot reccomend it highly enough.

hi, i bought mattress covers from la redoute as many mnetters recommended. they make all sort of material and they arent plasticky at all. very name cotton feel outside. and fits great, too. if you have not bought from la redoute before there are some good discount codes around.

I bought some from John Lewis which aren't at all rustly. They are quite rubbery underneath
but fabric on top. The only downside I've found is that they are fairly slow to dry because the plastic/rubber side means they don't spin dry very well in the washing machine.
