I'm pretty good right now, have a Bug Frog and Combi flash...Neither are going anywhere as love them both.

If you fancy selling your package - or parts of it (if I can tempt you lol) please let me know.

Would love to chat more as have been teasing myself with the babydab and glad to catch you online but hub is getting pissed off with me and is summoning me to bed (to sleep not nooky lol)

Good night for now x

Does it recline flat? On the kiddicare demonstration on youtube it looks like it doesn't? still want it though

lecohen · 27/06/2009 20:57

babydrip? where are you

babydrip · 27/06/2009 22:45

sorry lovey....been manic here dont know why just been one of those weeks!
Sorry havent done pics yet...hopefully get time tomorrow - tho wer'r taking the girls swimming first thing then going shoppin for eldest daughters school uniform
yes it does lay completely flat...the top bit where the head is has an extra bit that you can have either unfolded so it sort of stands up....makes it look sort of boxed shape iyswim so more cosey for little ones...or if older you fold it over then its just flat like other pushchairs...
il try and answer anymore questions i can darling

Hiya, sure I understand, don't blame you! I'm in Stanmore Middlesex (London borders).

Hope your girls are well x

nappyaddict · 28/06/2009 16:18

babydrip what other pushchairs have you had to compare to the babydan?

lecohen · 29/06/2009 09:30

Hi again,

Hope you and the kids are well...can I just ask, is it worth spending £30 on the matching change bag? It's like half the price of the pushchair...is it worth it? Many thanks x

lecohen · 30/06/2009 13:49

Hiya, guess what, I found one local to me on ebay and bought it - It is black denim and in really good condition...It is really nice but think I may have paid too much for it (£40 and drove for 40 mins to collect) but really like it, will give it a spin at 3 when I go to collect dd from nursery so will see if it was worth me dreaming about it for the last few weeks lol

I did want to buy the stripey one but the seller wasn't responding to my queries.

Can you tell me if your handles move a little? I think it's because they are adjustable but thought I'd ask.

Hope you are enjoying the weather x

babydrip · 01/07/2009 11:25

Hi so sorry hubby away so difficult to get online....eldest in nursery today...and would you believe it baby's just woke! im sure she's tuned into the computor!!!
Il try an get online later...well done! hope you like it...and yes my handles are slightly like that but not that you really notice
be back soon

Hi nappyaddict..i havent had as many as some to compare but to be honest i wasnt comparing it against anything...i just wanted a pushchair that would take a heavier weight (even though our children are light!...thought it might last longer)
I have (in use) a neo nato travel system
had a infinity - sold
got a micralite - fab for hols
got a my bear - selling as needed a umbrella fold double
got a phil and teds E3 - selling as would like a ??? quinny buzz 4 or mutsy lightrider or similar
so as you can see these are very different...in my opinion i dont find it heavy or hard to push etc.
love the fact that it can lay flat etc....
easy to fold etc
oh.....shh got a maclaren techno double hiding!!!
dont know if that helps
so lechoen have you tried it?? do you like it?? etc etc
love

Hi Tracey, how are you?

Thanks for asking...yes I have been using it for a few days now and generally I quite like it...Mine doesn't recline completely flat, does yours? but it is sufficient for my 6 month dd to sleep in it happily. The brakes are a bugger to put on (don't bother anyway)and the wheels don't turn as smoothly as my Bugaboo but don't think anything in this category would.

I use it with a buggyboard and it is excellent. Yesterday I took my almost 3 year old out in it for a couple of hours...she usually NEVER rides in the buggy anymore BUT I asked her to sit nicely for shopping and she looked so comfy in it with plenty of space...I have a pet hate against BIG kids in buggies but she didn't look bad at all and I was very pleased with it's performance.

I find the fabric on the seat lovely but not as padded as I would have liked but a nice liner solves this.

The basket underneath is useless really but not a prob for what I actually use it for. I do like the big pocket at the back of the buggy though, it's so useful and fits quite a lot.

Also, when I fold it, the side that clicks it shut doesn't hold it properly if I lift the buggy by the handle...does yours? BUT I love how compact it is folded.

Most of all, love that it is sturdy and anti-tip given that it is a lightweight stroller.

Bet you are sorry you asked now given my ramblings lol x

nappyaddict · 06/07/2009 10:10

lecohen is it lighter to push than your combi flash? i liked the look of those too.

lecohen · 06/07/2009 14:02

Hiya, no combi flash is lighter and more steerable due to bar handle but not good if you are tall as it is low and not good for buggy board which is why i wanted the babydan...otherwise the combi is one of my faves and has outlived all my others

nappyaddict · 06/07/2009 15:00

decisions decisions

what else have you had?

lecohen · 06/07/2009 16:37

Hiya,

Have had quite a lot actually - Currently have Bug Frog, combi flash, babydan stockholm and mac Volo...

have had:

Britax Visio
Bruin Alpine
Big 3 wheel jogger (My Child)
Hauck traxx Eagle
Hauck I'coo Infinity (sold for a friend but tried it for a little while)
Firstwheels city elite (belonged to SIL but tried it)
ABC design Astro
Britax Italian Collection pram
Combi WE2 (double)
Safety 1st tandem (double)

Not as much as others on here...what are your requirements?

lecohen · 06/07/2009 16:39

I quite like the look of M&P Cybex with bar handle but scared to buy from them new due to their poor aftersales

nappyaddict · 06/07/2009 16:42

What was the visio and the eagle like?

lecohen · 06/07/2009 16:56

The eagle is discontinued now but didn't rate it very much...looked very funky but it tipped with the slightest weight on handles BUT what was most annoying was the wheels - they had a "mudguard" cover whereby wheels and twigs would get trapped underneath and then the wheels wouldn't turn...I took it on a beach holiday and I couldn't push it over the sand at all - Ok, I know they are not designed for this purpose but my combi flash managed perfectly well!

The Britax Visio I liked and ticked lots of boxes but was a bit too bulky when I used it for nursery run as they have a small doorway and it used to get in the way.

It has lovely padded fabric (although I disliked the large side wings as made the sitting area a bit narrow but my nearly 3 yr old dd didn't mind it) and an accessible basket (although I couldn't fold it if I left the raincover in the basket (so annoying).

Was good with a buggy board though!

Was nice as a pramette but baby outgrew it within a few weeks.
