The reviews I read about them are fabulous. I never heard a negative thing about them and I plan on buying one in the near future. Sorry that is all I know.

Thanks anyway. It should be here tomorrow as long as weather holds off long enough for it to make it so I'll find out then.

Hi Kegs, How are you finding your city mini?? Just wondering if I should buy one of those for going away on holiday (and going in the belly of a plane)and save our icandy apple which I love getting damaged.

Anyone else got any thoughts on the city mini?? Should I go for one of those or a maclaren stroller. It would really only be for going away and maybe when DD gets a bit older and I just want something light and easy.

Not sure about the whole 3 wheeler thing......do they tip over easily???

I have one and I think it's going to be great - although I haven't properly tried it out with a child in it yet (we're meeting our new dd at the end of this week). It doesn't seem as though it would tip easily. I popped DS in (he's 4.8 yrs and just under 17kg) and had a quick trundle with it and it seem very sturdy.

With DS I never found the right light-weight stroller and kept trying different ones, but I think this time around I might have found the one. It has a very high handle (which I love) so might not be suitable if you are quite small. It also doesn't fold up particularly tiny. If your DD is over about 18 months and you are really only going to need it for occasional use then a Maclaren Volo might be worth looking at. It's extremely lightweight and has a great carrying handle so you can sling it over your shoulder easily. It doesn't recline though, and I'm not keen on two-handled pushchairs as you need to use both hands.

HI Bran, thanks for that...and congrats in advance for the end of this week.

DD is only 7 months at the moment and the height thing is fine as I'm 5ft 6 and DH is 6ft.

Need to have a look at it in person now don't I!!!! Anyone know where it is stocked around the Surrey way?

bran · 04/03/2009 23:03

They might have it in John Lewis if you have one nearby, they had one in stock at JL in Canary Wharf.

Fab, thanks.

I have one on these and love it. It is super sturdy and handles really well. The fold action is great too!

I'm a midget at 5ft 1 and I find the higher handle really comfortable.
