Can anyone recommend which baby doll is best?
DD wants one she can feed and dress

Also do you buy the doll nappies or just teeny RL ones?

I have 2 DDs - 5 and 7 - and have got through a LOT of dolls! My advice would to avoid the ones that you feed little sachets of food and then fill their nappies.. Others may disagree but I have found them messy, hard to clean and one even went mouldy.
The water peeing dolls are ok. DD2 had one a year or so ago and filled her doll up so many times and let it widdle all over her bedroom floor. We only found out what she was up to when out electrics went off and found she had spilt so much water it had gone through the floor boards and became rather expensive. Not the doll?s fault, but definitely put me off!

The most successful doll of all has been the Annabel. Soft bodied, easy to switch on and off, batteries last ages, never any problems, lovely face, nice weight - not too heavy for little ones.

I bought a pack of prem baby nappies and (as my DDs no longer have peeing dolls) they get recycled so never bought any more. Same with clothes - tiny baby clothes are cheaper than many doll baby clothes!! Ebay is great for that.

If she really wants to feed them, why not get a little magic milk feeding bottle and a cheap baby doll feeding kit - pretend food with a little dish and spoon is just as much fun with none of the mess.

Definately Annabell,as lemontart said the ones you feed are soooooo messy.

I would go with annabell as well. We bought a small pack of prem nappies( was split between 3 cousins so all got about 6-7 each)
I have bought baby clothes n tesco and sainsbos sales for the doll.

Thanks, I didn't realise you could feed them food - I was only thinking of bottles!

Annabell has a bottle you can feed her, its got water in and then when she cries it comes out as tears, its definatly the best one around at the moment
