Now that MFI is no more, where can I go for low cost fitted bedroom furniture?

Title says it all really. It's for dd's room which has loads of sloping ceilings, awkward shaped walls so has to be fitted. Anywhere cheaper than Sharps?

B&Q?

Ikea don't do fitted. Not sure about B & Q - off to check now

Ikea do do fitted here in France. Don't know about the UK but worth checking again.

Find local carpenter/joiner -- likely to work out cheaper and better than Sharps.

I agree
that stuff from mfi etc always ends up looking very odd IMO. A bit like having a kitchen in your bedroom. You would be better off with a carpenter doing nice mdf cupboards and painting them white

IKEA and B&Q both do "modular" which is quite flexible but not going to really achieve what I'm after which is a run of wardrobes to fit a large alcove which has sloping ceilings to top and side .... I need the wardrobes to be cut to the angle of the ceiling. Plus also wanting a run of chests under the window with a single dressing table / desk type top.

And she liked the gloss white type finish which I think would be difficult to replicate in wood.
