Igglepiggle bubble bath

DS2 was given one of those Igglepiggle shaped bubble bath bottles for xmas - I put some in the bath tonight and both DS1 and DS2 instantly screamed when we put them in, so we had to get them out again immediately

We have explained that it IS NOT Igglepiggle's fault and that they should not hold him responsible for their pain

Has anyone else experienced anything similar with this bubble bath? I think we will be pouring the rest of ours down the sink and just keeping the bottle to play with.

Don't pour it down sink....send it back to manufacturers and complain. Not so much for compensation or anything - but in case it is a dodgy batch that needs recalling or something.

Dd had an Upsy Daisy one. She was fine until she saw me take Upsy Daisy's head off and pour liquid from out of her neck.

Luckily she was able to be persuaded that Upsy Daisy was fine and hadn't been butchered after all.

Should add that the liquid itself was fine though.

I know; whoever thought that a child would enjoy seeing their favourite character having its head pulled off is totally barmy!

Maybe my children are overly sensitive? We only usually use oilatum or Infraderm, and more recently Johnsons Naturals Bubble bath(which I doubt is actually that natural)

Well, it got bathtime over with quickly, normally they want to stay and play in there for blinking hours

no problems with the bubble bath - in fact ours is finished now.
