... now that there's no Woolies?

I'm generally on the lookout for cheapo stuff but will buy DD1 something a bit nicer for her birthday party if there's anything lovely out there.

Also general dressing-up stuff

I do use ebay when I have to

Matalan are great for things like this - and ASDA

If you are not bothered by secondhand, I got dd some amazing Disney Princess stuff from a charity shop for about 2 quid each. They looked new as well! The thing to do is make friends with the old lady volunteers My dd tends to spend her pocket money on tat treasures from charity shops and as a result she 'knows' a few of the staff. know they would hold things back for you if they thought you would like them?

M and S had some reversible ones in the sale - we got Belle for £9. Tesco etc do them .

for lovely stuff, a bit more costly of course, try this website

thanks all, will take a look.

thumbwitch - excellent, perfect for DD1's birthday - have bought a 'normal' dress or two from them before, they're great - thanks

TK Maxx had some Disney ones in last time I was there. Large Sainsbury's do their own version too.

My local primark had fairy and princess dresses for under £5 that looked pretty good.

I always make our fancy dress costumes. Far more satisfying IME and cheaper. Made Dd a fab devils outfit when she was 11 months and it still fitted(cos I let it down)last Halloween. Cost about £3.00.
Ds wore a devil suit that I made when I was 16.

Franch DD has an immaculate reversible M&S cinderella dress which also serves as a witchy halloween dress as one side is black and purple. It would probably be size 7 ish but I'd had to check. Would you like it for a fiver?

DD is saving for a laptop (in her dreams but she will have saved enough by the time I will allow her to have one, ie four year's time!!). I can email you a picture if you give me your email address.

I also have another immaculate Disney Princess Dress I want to sell for her, she bought it with her birthday money a few years back but inevitably she wore it a few times and then grew out of it. It's age 7-8. It's pink, Sleeping Beauty, and beeeeautiful, would make ideal birthday present but as it was £40 new I would really like £20 for it. I can also send a photo of that if you want.

I got a dressing up chest from Toysrus with 4 disney princess outfits for £24 just before Christmas. Can't remember if that was special offer though.
