I have my heart set on this travel system but I can't find any reviews about the actual car seat? I read that it is not actually made by baby confort but by safety first.

Has anyone tried one?

I don't know about the streety but I've got a Loola with the rear facing car seat, and we've even gone on to get the Bebe Confort creatis axis car seat and all I can say is, good design poorly executed. I had to replace the chassis of the pushchair after less than a year, and it's still not great (need a massive heave-ho to open it) and the creatis car seat (front facing one) gets stuck when trying to turn it. I didn't have any problems with the rear facing car seat though. Seemed pretty robust to me but then it didn't have any moving parts.

the carseat is the same as a maxi cosi carseat

I had a streety but didn't keep it, my ds was too old to use the carseat so that never came out of the wrapping, i don't think it was the same as the maxi cosi tho?

Found the streety heavy to lift up kerbs and couldn't push one handed (necessity for me with toddler in tow!)

nice pushchair tho, lovely big hood and looks nice and clever compact fold.

Its going to be for baby number 4. My other 3 children are all at school. I'll use it for the school run which is quite a long walk.

I would go for something bigger since I walk most of the time.

On the rare occasion we do use the car I need something that can fit into the back of a zafira with all seats up. Sucks.

if it wasn't for the heavy lift up kerbs i think i would have kept the streety as liked everything else about it. it looks a little like a bee. i got mine from baby value on ebay listed as used but it was bnib with footmuff raincover all tags attached i think i paid about £90delivered for it. worth checking babyvalue on ebay if you are set on one as they have a few bebe conforts.

I am a bit worried about the curbs thing. Is it worse than a loola?

DH says that if I buy it in this colour he won't push it. I kind of like it for some reason.

i prefer the black tbh!!
i've not used a loola so i don't know, was always put off the loola because of the heavy lifting up kerbs, wanted to try a loola up, but thought this was better value.

Hi,
We have the Bebecomfort streety travel system and it is brilliant. So so easy to use, click, click, click. Car seat works really well and is very easy to install and remove to put in another car. Highly recommend it for ease of use, light, extremly manoevreability, and yes you do need the base for the car seat.
Definitely buy it for your sake and the safety and comfort of your baby. We use the car seat as a rocker which works very well.

BTW my wife pushes the streety one-handed a lot of the time without any issues and the comments regarding kerb height ? I don't know how high these kerbs are but this is an aluminium chasis on 4 wheels so I do not understand the issue with kerbs. Anyway, neither my wife or I have ever had any problems, in fact the streety has a kind of "foot push pad" when you need to lift the front wheels up for kerbs etc. I forgot to mention also that the car seat safety factor was the reason that we bought this system in the first place.
