Anyone got a TWOO for their Bugaboo Wheeled Board?

I've just purchased a buggy board for the chameleon. Not that impressed but only used it once. It sticks out a lot making you either walk like a cowboy or to the side - not ideal for long strolls. Anywaaaay, not much choice as not wasting 50 quid. I've seen there are these seats that go on the buggy board called Twoo's. They are not from the makers of bugaboo but only fit their boards. They are in case the little one's legs get tired. Anyone got one? Thoughts?

Golly, am surprised that you don't like the board.

I love ours - am 5'6" and dh is 6' and it seems to work equally well for both of us. Have you got the handlebar fully extended?

DD still occasionally hops on (is 5.5) and she actually perches sitting on tne board quite happily.

Haven't heard of the TWOO.

Yes, have got handlebar fully extended. Maybe I just need a bit more practice. It was only the first time. Love everything else about Bugaboo so hopefully will adjust to the board.

It does take a little while to get completely used to it. I suppose I'm just comparing it to other boards which I've found to be A) annoying with 2 wheels so you always clip your feet or B) too small and flimsy.

Good luck!

I'm still getting used to mine - end up doing the 'one armed push'. Even if I have the handle bar fully extended still have to walk like a cowboy... was looking at getting the TWOO but decided against it, figured it would be a PITA if DD decided she wanted to stand? and didn't want to spend yet another 50 quid.

I have a Twoo and have found it invaluable. My dd is 3.2 and ds is 19mths and we still use it all the time. Did have a P&T when ds was first born but dd quickly started to refuse pram. You do have to walk a little bit to the side but it's great to have the two of them safely on board. All her friends fight over turns on the little seat and I know that friends of mine with buggy boards have quickly found them redundant. Novelty hasn't worn off a year and a half later!
