Where can I get DD some soft leather shoes - she is 6months - we have been given a 2nd hand pair from SIL they were from next and look like the roebees/shoo shoo ones but much softer - I would like to get some in the next size up but actually want to see them - have only seen the ones in mothercare so far... whereelse sell them - or the different makes of them? I just want to see what I am buying rather than buying online!
thanks so much!

Dd had some lovely ones by Bobux. We can get them in our local independent toy & clothes shop, but they are the same price online. Tbh, dd wore them for months but even now she is 4.6 I wouldn't hesitate to put ds in them (shame the pink wouldn't really suit him ) as htey are still in good nick.

Mamas & Papas do some really lovely soft leather shoes, if you have a store near you, I would try there.

JoJoMamanBebe do a small range of them. Do you have a store nearby?

jkklpu · 15/12/2008 19:43

and Greenbaby - a £ or two more expensive than JoJoMB and a smaller range. Have always been v happy with Jojo ones - ds2 on about his 3rd pai and have given to others as presents. Be sure that you check whether your dd's feet are big for her age or you may end up with ones that don't last for long

spicemonster · 15/12/2008 19:45

snugglefeet are cheapest but only online but good quality

cheekychopsmum · 15/12/2008 20:16

Wynsors are selling them for £4. Only seen them online, so don't know what they are like, but they have been recommended on another other site

loler · 15/12/2008 20:17

The jojo ones are really soft - much softer than others I've had. But all get softer with wearing so 2nd hand ones will be softer than new ones. Delivery is free so you could order look and return if unsuitable.

Be aware of monsoon ones - they are soft but just won't stay on as soon as dc starts moving!

These were my weakness with DD1 (who had 10 pairs before she was 2 )

Having extensively tried several different brands the only ones I wouyld recomend are robeez. They never fall off and are worth the extra money. All others are a false economy as you'll lose them.

robeez website has a store locator.

enjoy

blowninonabreeze · 15/12/2008 20:23

PS they tend to come up big size wise - in my opinion

mejon · 15/12/2008 21:14

I agree that Robeez are the best I've come across. They are virtually impossible for DD to remove and have lasted really well. She is 2.4 and is still in 12-18 month sized ones (use them as slippers!). The Shoo-Shoos from Mothercare always look quite 'roomy' and not particularly snug so with a DC like mine they'd be off in a shot!
