At monkey music with ds and saw a lady put her two kids in a pushchair, couldn't see the second child - it was a phil and ted (I spose you'd call it a tandem but it wasn't really!) and the other seat was UNDER THE PUSHCHAIR!!!!

I'm probably the last person on the planet to see one but I'm truly shocked! Granted, it made it a nice small (smaller than most tandems anyways) pushchair but the poor second child would see nothing!

i do love mine. i use it mainly for the school run, and it does turn heads, expecially if people hear dd3 crying and cant see her at first as they only see dd2 in the front seat. was walking back from the school with my uncle dave, and he said 'thats a cool looking pushchair, looks like a little tent at the back' i told him there was a baby in there and he was very impressed with the design.
i dont know how long it will be used as a double for, but as a single pushchair its fab as well. i used it for 2months as a single before dd3 was born, and dd2 was very comfortable in it (remember she is a big girl).

the only thing i dont like is the shopping basket and how to get to it when the back seat is being used for the newborn. might invest in a pannier or the rucksack.
