Is there such a thing as this with air tyres, in the style of Mountain Buggy or Jane Slalom pro? For a two year old so not carrycot or car seat.

I've got a Mutsy that is rear facing, has air tyres, and great off road.

kezboosnez · 12/12/2008 20:59

thisisyesterday · 12/12/2008 21:01

pushchair · 12/12/2008 21:01

Can you link to the i-coo platon you have- the type I mean just to see what you are talking about.

it's this one

hedgeHogfather · 12/12/2008 21:16

I have this one which can do both forward and rearward facing

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 12/12/2008 21:17

The bebe confort high trek. It's not available in the uk any more but the welcomemrbaby website has them (we got ours from there) and they're fab

pushchair · 12/12/2008 21:26

With the i-coo what is self steering?

OP posts:
thisisyesterday · 12/12/2008 21:30

no idea :S
maybe it's cos the front wheels are steerable?

pushchair · 12/12/2008 21:35

Oh lord now feel overwhelmed with lots of options, none of which I can see in the flesh.
Will have to do a lot of googling and comparing. Thanks.
I am assuming you all like your pushchairs- any gripes?

mine takes the entire boot of my Daewoo lanos, so it is like playing tetris to fit shopping in around

thisisyesterday · 12/12/2008 21:43

the i;coo is really heavy, so not great if you need to get it in and out of the car a lot. but fab for if you just want to keep it in the house and use it for lots of walking.
um, actually that's about it. i really love it, and dp doesn't want me to sell it but i have too many pushchairs

pushchair · 12/12/2008 21:48

I don't have a car but do have a lot of hills to go up and down so weight would be an issue. Also 2yr old isn't so light. ATM bebe confort is coming lightest from what I can gather ont'net at 12kg. Any advance on 12kg.

i didn't think the high trek one was reversible?

thisisyesterday · 12/12/2008 22:26

yes, high trek is reversible

nappyaddict · 12/12/2008 22:32

i think it is the everest i am thinking of.

i looked at the high trek years ago but it didn't lie very flat. don't know if that matters to you or not? DS won't sleep in a pushchair unless it is 170-180 degrees.

nicm · 13/12/2008 07:23

teutonia spirit s3

pushchair · 13/12/2008 07:31

Oh another teutonia fan. Why do you recommend?

OP posts:
nicm · 15/12/2008 20:07

sorry haven't been about. like the fact that it was rear facing after ds came out of the carrycot. looked at the jane slalom and the quinny speedi and the spirit was the easiest to push by far. the carrycot and the seat unit are really long and it feels reaaly well built. the guy in the shop said he had been selling them for over 2 years and had never had one returned with problems. the wheels are made from a foam and so you never get punctures. had this problem with the phil and teds i used when childminding. also the suspension is really good and it is nearly as bouncy as an old fashioned pram. hth anything else just ask.

pushchair · 15/12/2008 20:43

Thanks I stopped a woman in the street today and asked her what her pushchair was because I thought I recognised it. She couldn't remember! said oh it's a too.... Teutonia I exclaimed. Um I think so. Is it a Spirit s3? Eh I don't know
She must have thought I was barking.

pushchair · 15/12/2008 22:14
