Another stroller/pushchair query... Help me find the right one please...

I have a bog standard umbrella fold pushchair for dd (6mths) from Babiesrus but its close to breaking.
I would prefer a rear facing pushchair so that I can talk to dd when walking but I need something that is light, folds up quite small and is reasonable in price (as DD is our second and last child) and can't afford much.

I was looking at Loolas but not sure as reviews are mixed. To clarify on price I will be happy to look at second hand eg Ebay.

TIA

that's ok
re the Loola. I almost bought one for ds2 but reading the reviews on here really put me off. plus there are hundreds on ebay, which made me wonder if lots of people were getting rid for a reason!

are you looking for 3 or 4 wheels?

littleducks · 06/12/2008 15:02

icandy cherry?
oh and if you do want one of these cat me as am selling

quinny buzz?

I have a Loola and I love it, though DD3 is too long for it, she is 3, so I am going to put mine on Ebay. I chose it because it is the most compact rear facer I could find. It handles well, and is lovely to push. I don't think there are hundreds on Ebay especially, there are also hundreds of Maclarens and P3's which I also love!
I have also seen lots of them around being used, so they are liked I am sure, though I think some people find them heavy, they are heavier than a stroller, but I have had hundreds of buggies and I found the Loola great to push and steer, not like some I have tried!

HTH.

PS I don't think you smell - we are just busy Xmas shopping!

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 17:22

loolas are HEAVY! i had the same dilema recently tried a bebe confort streety but didn't really like, gave up with rear facing as cannot find a compact-reasonably priced-rearfold. gone back to my trusty maclaren!

carrielou2007 · 06/12/2008 18:14

OP Loola's are really really heavy and really hard to steer.

How about Bugaboo Bee (not cheap) or for light forward facing maclaren quest/triumph/volo or silver cross pop/fizz??

littleducks · 06/12/2008 19:30

a bugaboo bee would be good but i think you need a MASSIVE budget to justify it

i want to win one in a comp or something

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 19:33

I was really disappointed when i look at bee the seat seems real small, as i was considering one for my ds, theres no way he would fit in it, and he's not quite 17m yet.
