DD is now 6 months and over xmas we are going to be visiting relatives (mostly just for the day) - ideally i would love a small travelcot that goes up quick and is small enough to keep in the car and small enough that people won't need to move furniture to accomodate! - so the samsonite bubble looks ok as up to 18 months but reviews not great once they can sit up on thier own... any way round tis? other options??
thanks

Sorry, can't get your link to work but I've got one of these. Got it a bit cheaper than that but can't remember where from now. My daughter is 6 months and still fits in it comfortably with plenty of room to grow. It pops up in seconds and fits into a tiny case about the size of a dinner plate (thicker than that obviously but can't think of anything else to compare it to size wise!). They also do a bigger one here which would last longer. I know this style isn't for everyone but for me with a daughter who will only sleep on her front, it was essential. I can't reach to put her down or pick her up if she's in a traditional style travel cot.

OP they are great, I had the bubble and used it about 8 times in dd's first year. Only trouble is you can't tuck a sheet in and if your dd dribbles as much as mine (also sleeps on her front) it is a pain.

She was about 11 months when we bought a graco (I hate graco but this was brill) olypus pack and play travel cot/play pen and use it abroad as also has UV sun canopy.

I would say the Bubble is great but if you won't use it a lot is a bit pricey.

I've got an Nscessity - it is fabulous. The size of a cushion when collapsed, really light, much more portable than pack and play style. Very easy to put up. Great for daytime naps on visits, good for the garden/beach as a shady place to sit and play.

oh - yes and very stable as well for sitters.

I bought the pop up one too and it's great, fantastic for travelling, folds really small, bought mine here for £20
