i've seen it used with babt on top and toddler underneath. You need to buy the attachments though.

Not sure about Phil and Teds. The newborn looks like its on the floor!

Can put maxi cosi on phil and teds (with adaptor bar) and i have still used doubles seat underneath (it does tell you not to do this thou-not sure why thou?)
Or can just use p & t with newborn in cocoon and toddler on top-although if dont like p & t These are pointless suggestions!!
Sorry

Easy Walker Duo (similar to mountain buggy) can take a maxi cosi - I think a mountain buggy can as well actually.

since you'll be using a double for a good year it might be worth going for a decent side by side double, unless your DC1 is going to nursery in the next year. The narrowest ones (Mountain buggy, baby jogger, easy walker) also take a maxi cosi car seat, and a bassinet option, but they're pretty pricey. They all have fab large wheels to easily push too, but are therefore bulky/heavy. The nipper 360 is cheaper, but much harder to fit through doors as its very wide. Baby jogger city mini might be an option for you if you take public transport. It folds easiest and is lightweight, and i'm pretty sure you can attach maxi cosi, but no bassinet option. Also wheels are smaller so not as smooth as baby jogger city elite.
