Snow suit/all-in-one suit

DD is almost 9 months old. My sister lent us my niece's old snow suit and it's already getting a bit small for her.

Do you think that we need to get another snow suit? She has a few coats, a footmuff and I sometimes chuck in a blanket. Will it eventually get so cold that I wish that we had a snow suit?

We found we never used a snowsuit after our DD was about three months. She always seemed a bit too bundled up IMO. Mixture of cosy footmuff/blanket/coats worked fine for us.

JojoMamanbebe do lovely fleecy ones with little fold over parts for hands and feet. Very warm but thin so child is flexible. Was my top buy.

I've got a fleece all in one from bushbaby - quite generous sizing and causees a lot less tears than a snowsuit plus you can layer up underneath

the one Iv'e got sounds just like the ones moondog has

Does she go out much in the cold? If it is short trips, or in and out of shops (which are usually overheated imo), I wouldn't bother.

I have one for ds2 (9 months) because we go out with the dog early in the morning when it is rather cold. He's sitting still for up to an hour so it seems necessary. Added bonus is that with all that padding he can go on the baby swings at the park too and not fall out, which he thinks is the best thing ever.
