LOOLA OR BUGABOO FOR A 3 YR OLD?

3girlies · 26/11/2008 11:47

I need a buggy that faces me as DD3 has developmental delay, I am not sure of what she will fit in as we still do a lot of walking. Anyone have experience of doing this and is it practical?

Thanks.

Not sure about a loola but I wouldnt think a 3 yr old would fit in a bugaboo, mine doesnt, her head sticks through the materiel on the hood and her feet hang below where her feet would go, she is 104 cms if that helps?

cheesesarnie · 26/11/2008 12:17

loola is very heavy and bulky.i wanted one for ages.got one and got rid within a month.

I think you could rule out the Bugaboo as, like lanismum says, I don't think a 3 year old would fit. I had to stop using mine when dd3 was about 2.4 years. Not very helpful, sorry!

Mutsy (urban rider I think) can rear face, and are loads roomier than a bug, mines packed away so cant stick my 3 yr old in to try but am pretty sure she would still fit in it, it is the size and weight of a 4x4 though...................

What about the Jeep Pushchair it has a reversible handle but don't know about the measurements. TBH I think you'll struggle to get a rear facing pushchair for a big child

Wouldn't buy a Loola very heavy and crappy wheels with a small DC never mind a toddler.

Thanks very much ladies! just don't know what to try, will keep looking.

How about MPX

naomi83 · 26/11/2008 13:25

mutsy riders are huge as are hauck infinity i think? what about a peg perego switch? (mamas and papas) They are very roomy and face both ways, but might be harder to push due to smaller wheels

Yes - I have thought about the MPX, she still fits in a freestyler and it is similar so that is a possibility. I think the mutsy would be too big for me, looks huge and heavy, I have a P3 which I love if only it faced me it would be perfect!
Thanks for your suggestions.

We used a loola for dd2 (asd) in the summer, she was 2.5 but is large (in 3-4 clothes).

first wheels city elite have very big roomy chairs! you can sometimes get them cheap on ebay brand new. very light to push too. HTH x
