Ready Beds - any good?

I need a put-up bed for dd to sleep in when we have guests and wondered about a ready bed. Does anyone have one of these and do you rate it? Wondering if this would be a good buy or whether I'd be better shelling out a bit more and getting a z-bed.

in theory yes but they grow out of them so quickly and I can't imagine they are very comfortable. My DS has only used his three or four times, he's a bit big for it now and I wish I'd just bought a little foldaway one instead.

I have a brand new ready bed if you want to buy one cheap! I bought it from vertbaudet to give my niece as a present but someone bought one too!

They're brill - dd loves hers - we use it a lot for trips to gps and camping.
Some friends have been disappointed tht they deflate overnight but we've never had that problem..

We use ours all the time. I'm a Childminder though which is why it gets so much use. They wash really well too and dry quickly
My son is a very tall 3 yr old and still fits comfortably

Do you mean the inflatable ones with Thomas the Tank Engine etc? We had one, but as as pp said they are small. The built in duvet is very synthetic and thin. The only real advantage is that they are relatively compact if you need something to sling in the car if you go visiting. For home use I'd consider a guest futon like the bed in a bag that Futon Company sell, or a decent self inflating mattress and child sleeping bag for travelling.
