Branster · 16/03/2005 21:38

I wouldn't know what Pounland was to start with so it wouldn't bother me in the slightest

Branster · 16/03/2005 21:38

nutcracker · 16/03/2005 21:38

Branster · 16/03/2005 21:39

Then no, I wouldn't have a problem with that.

nutcracker · 16/03/2005 21:49

Would buy stationary or books but alot of their toys look like they would fall apart at the drop of a hat.

Don't mind my kids recieving them as it's the thought that counts and even if they only get 5 mintues out of them then thats a pound well spent.

Branster · 16/03/2005 21:49

Never seen one.

tiffini · 16/03/2005 21:49

THOSE PREZZIES SOUND FINE TO ME, I WOULD'NT EXPECT MUCH MORE IF IT WAS MY CHILDS PARTY

Branster · 16/03/2005 21:50

i don't suppose they have a website by any chance?

colditzmum · 16/03/2005 21:50

I love poundland, I always go in there for a walk about.

Need a disposable jockstrap (in tartan print)? Go to Poundland!

nutcracker · 16/03/2005 21:51

here it is

Fimbo · 16/03/2005 21:51

It does what is says on the tin. Sells everything for a £1.00. Sells everything and anything, we even got rose bushes last year. Sometimes they stock well known brands of stuff, that maybe the packaging has changed etc. Sometimes get large tubes of MacLeans toothpaste etc. Its the type of place you have to have a good rake in, some of the stuff can be crap (i.e. those cheap nasty silky/lacy knickers)
