Where's a good place to get children's crockery (melamine/plastic)

I would like to get my DS some for xmas but don't really want sets - just a couple of plates and bowls. Would prefer something brightly coloured but not tied into a particular TV show if possible ...

Thanks

We've got the Asda plates and cups. Or there's Letterbox.co.uk if you want to splash out (though they seem to have more in the catalogue than on the website).

There's no asda anywhere round here sadly. Some of the letterbox ones are quite nice though, thanks

Any other ideas anyone? Seems like it should be an easy thing doesn't it? Perhaps I'll just go and get him some cheap ones from Ikea instead

Emma Bridgewater - link through MN shopping page and you get a discount I think?

I found the ones in Letterbox in a Zara Home store slightly cheaper. Have been really good - wash well, lovely colours, robust etc.
