I don't want to ask for anything tooooo expensive. If there is one that is around the £50 mark which one should I go for?

The one to buy is a Panasonic, though unfortunately it costs more than £50.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 04/11/2008 12:29

If you can't run to the £100 Panasonic ones, Morphy Richards are very good too.

Thomcat · 04/11/2008 12:30

ohhh that one is under £50. Ohhhh good

Not the Kenwood one. We got one for our wedding and all it ever turned out was rocks.

KatyMac · 05/11/2008 06:01

I have the kenwood one & I bake bread everyday - is fab

ninedragons · 05/11/2008 07:50

Ah, it must be just our ineptitude then.

KatyMac · 05/11/2008 07:52

I 'fixed' the recipe a bit tho' - do you still have it....do you want my version of the recipe?

Furball · 05/11/2008 08:00

blimey TC - A slow cooker and a breadmaker!

I bought one back in September, just went for cheapo Argos Cookworks one which was about £40, see it's now down to £30 [grr] it's been great, use it every other day. Top tip buy good flour.

ninedragons · 05/11/2008 08:48

Ah, we followed the recipe to the letter. We gave it away, admittedly to someone who says it's been producing perfect loaves for her.
