thinking of getting these as am fed up with dropped spoons - this tea was a record TWELVE dropped spoons in one meal. joy.

so are they any good?

They didn;t work with my dd. She worked out really quickly how to un-sucker (if you know what I mean) the dish and utensils.

this is what i thought - and at nearly £9 a go, thought is was worth sounding others out.

i was planning on just giving him the suckereed on spoon and carrying on mostly feeding him myself, but it's a total mare.

my other thought was to put down a clean wipe-clean mat so when spoons (hopefully ) fall on it I can re-use them without qualms. am not totally hygiene mad, you understand.

but would have to take this mat up after every meal so it doesn't get walked on and therefore just as dirty as the floor.

i am just so fed up mopping the kitchen floor three times a day. baby's older brother (3) is just as messy an eater as the baby!

not a good idea imo - bit frustrating for the baby if they do stick as the movement is limited. and they usually end up not sticking. but the stick on rim for the bowl I got with my set is brilliant very hard indeed to get off if you are ds.

ive got a magic mat which works pretty well, yes. i did think they looked a bit gimmicky - but i'll try anything if it means less housework!
