Do any shops' trousers come up small on the waist?

DS1 (3.9) is tiny - he's just moved up into size 18-24 month clothes. Problem is he has no waist or bottom so his trousers always fall down - to make it worse trousers for 18-24 month olds are designed to fit over bulky nappies while he wears pants.

Does anyone know any shops where sizes come up small around the waist? Poor DS spends his life pulling his trousers up! Oh and I can't sew so please don't suggest tucks or anything!

Gap? Their pjs are tiny, anyway!

And H & M have those great waistbands with the adjustable elastic - makes trousers last about a year!

These are great now they come in 3 sizes.

There are other styles too, look under boys trousers.

They come up very true to size in the leg length too imo.

Thank-you - will try Next, Gap and H&M this afternoon though H & M's lengths are always enormous!

Hi I posted on this a while ago and whilst Adjustable waists are useful my DD finds them uncomfortable because they really have to be tightened a lot. She is wearing handed down and e-bay boden bootleg sweatpants in 18-24 months and sale gap similar style and these fit her perfectly in waist and length. She is 2. Don't know about the boys styles but may be the same.

Next and george (asda) do adjustable waist bands.

i always get adjustable waists - ds 1 is skinny - Sainsbury do some adjustable, as do gap, Next, H&M (but long)...good luck, I too am used to seeing ds1's trousers fallng past his pants. Apparently ds2 had his round his ankles at playgroup (embarrassing elastic failure moment).

Another skinny little boy here - DS is 4 now and still in 18-24 month trousers even though they are halfway yp his shins, will have to work out a way of keeping his pants up before the bad weather really sets in. Will try George at Asda though...

H&M, pumpkin patch and gap.

Next and some Mothercare - DS is the same, he's just gone up to age 3-4 trousers but will be 6 in Feb. Spent months in age 18-24 and had them all from Next - adjustable waists and slim fit.

I find Asda to be hit and miss as used to pick up cheap tops etc for playing in but trousers were huge and varied in length depending on style. Tops are ok size wise but dont wash well.

Success in H&M (they stayed up all day after I put them on the tiniest waist setting) and got a pair of £5 adjsutable jeans from Next too so thanks for the tips.

Anyone else still looking - I also noticed Boots had ones with adjustable waists and they were a couple of quid cheaper than H&M.
