I am hankering after this one here as a pressie for three children.
I had a lovely little tykes one passed down from my sister but gave it to the hospital when I thought I would have no more children...7 years and two more children later...
The little tykes is still going strong at the hospital though lol.

Size wise it looks a bit of a monster and I'm not sure how annoyed I would get with it.

It must be plastic so that I can put it outside when I have a mental breakdown about the amount of plasic tat in the house the little darlings want to enjoy the sunshine

I think I want that one seeing as they will all be playing with it and it has plenty of space but am open to other suggestions.

Has anybody had the one linked?
Are there any codes that will allow me to get it cheaper or can anyone find it for less than £200? Thanks.

Good god! It's massive!

Hope you have a large playroom/ house

tassisssss · 25/09/2008 14:52

as you know little tikes ones last really well

i'd go for the little tikes kitchen and laundry one that's currently 79.99 in toys r us. It's great and that's a fab price.

Yes, I may do better sticking to what I know (little tykes) rather than chancing a couple of hundred on a step 2 as I've not seen anything of theirs in the flesh sts.

It does look pretty huge RL75. It would have to go in a bedroom (bungalow) but now Im thinking that it would be nicer to have a flat one so that it can be transferred between kitchen/dining room/bedroom easily...

We have elc one, has lasted for ages and still gets regularly played with.

wendylanguage · 25/09/2008 20:54

Another vote for ELC one - it still gets played with every day and looks as good as new two years on.

QueenBhannae · 28/09/2008 15:26

Still nothing ordered as yet sigh

I like this one from ELC but its not plastic and in reality I like the fact it fits in more with my decor as opposed to being busy and noisy like the plastic ones I am looking at.

So help me choose between

this , this and this

It has to last several years and at least three children...

Have used Step 2 in the States and it was fab indoors and out.

I like the biggest one, plenty of space for 3 children and friends.

QueenBhannae · 28/09/2008 15:36

MNP
I know the big one is expensive but I feel
it was justified on three children

Good news they do alright outside too.
Is one that goes against the wall more practical though albeit there would be a reduction in worktop space.
This is more challenging than doing my own kitchen

To be honest even the small ones need pulling away froim the wall to be used and they aren't much use for more than 2 children.

It is an investment for years to come and the additional items required will keep family and friends sorted for gifts for a few years too
