buggy board with seat

Anybody use a buggyboard with a seat. I plan to use it with a Pliko Pramette. The idea of DD being able to sit down appeals as she will walk until she her legs are about to drop off and then she needs to sit down so the stand-on versions probably wouldn't work.

Yes.

15 month gap between dds so I used it once I could manage without the double buggy.

DD1 loved it, and even managed to sleep on it on occasion.

I did break two of them though, so wouldn't buy another one.

Can you hook it up over the buggy when not in use - I have LOADS of steps to do and have to go up backwards so need either a board or step that I can hook up on the handle of the buggy or pram as it will be for the 1st few months.
I would get a double but dd is too tall for the Jane which is just about the lightest and this seems a sensible alternative.

what make was it jas? googling isn't turning anything up for me

The only one I've ever seen is a litaf seat to go but you can buy it from tesco online and some baby catalogues.

It does clip off easily, but would be bulky over the handles of a buggy/pram.

Thanks for that I do too many steps to take on and off I really just need to be able to hook it over maybe with an 's' clip when I go over the bridge .

I've just ordered this as I read on some reviews that the seat to go could be a bit flimsy. I haven't got this yet though so I can't tell you how it is. If you aren't buying one just yet though I will happily report back my findings later in the week.

Oooh - bit pricey RedFraggle I am skinter than a skint person .... but it does what I need. I was hoping to pay nearer £40 but it would be £40 wasted if DD doesn't use it. I would appreciate your feedback if you don't mind

I know it is a bit steep - but I figured a bog standard buggy board is about £40 and I want one with a seat. Hopefully I will be able to sell it on ebay once I'm done with it too and so re-coup some of the cost. I will let you know when I have it. It should arrive on Wednesday hopefully...

RedFraggle · 06/09/2008 18:36

Well I am unable to tell you how it is yet since bloody Amazon sent me a battered box containing a scuffed and crappy Litaf pick up. I am sending it back and ordering one from kiddicare instead. So it could be a while before I can report back with how it is. Grrrr

Mamaberta - did you ever get a buggy board with a seat that fit onto your pliko pramette - i am looking for just the same thing and have just come across your search. do you know if the litaf pick up fits? thank you!

susiey · 18/05/2009 21:09

I bought a litaf pick up twice to use with my maclaren techno classic and triumph

once on ebay it arrived broken got refund and ordered from kiddicare also arrived broken

kiddicare replaced the broken part but when attatched to the buggy was really hard to push. so much so my dd used it once then we sold it on ebay (for collection only not even thinking about posting that had broken twice in the post!)

it was lot of money and wish I had bought a normal buggy board but as it was my dd was fine walking.
