There is a new mag being launched next week called GRAZZIA or something like that

It is a weekly Glossy mag.

IMHO glossy mags have too many adverts.

I never buy them I just read my mums and sisters ones.

Does anybody else buy glossy ones do you think too many adverts?

I only read Eve and occassionally New Woman and Red. Did used to read BBC Parenting but haven't seen it for ages so assumed discontinued.

Yep, it was shut down. Several of us had done pieces for it.

I love the glossies. I bought Vogue for years on subscription and have kept every copy for my dd to have in later years. I now keep all my In Styles for the same reason. And I tear a lot of ads and articles out of Country Living.
Only buy magazines which make me happy - I am quite content to look at beautiful glamourous homes and clothes without being able to afford them! Will not buy Heat anymore because it depresses me and makes me feel dirty and will not buy Red because I always found it anti-SAHM and that in itself is too depressing.

Shame - thought it was one of the best parenting mags I'd seen.

can't bear women's magazines

the FT weekend magazine is my favourite read

I enjoy Mother and Baby. I bought that right through my pregnancy and I still by the occasional copy.

I do like the gossip mags though like Heat and OK.

I'm a magazine junkie. Always have been. Been through various types (fashion, weddings, pregnancy...)
Now I get Junior and Eve (both subscription presents), Top Sante recently (am on a health kick and need inspiration), look at (rather than read) SIL's Vogue, Elle etc.
Never read celebrity mags, unless in a doctors or dentist waiting room.
Often attracted to a magazine by an interesting cover or freebie.
