Stickle Bricks

Hi all

My DD (9 and half months) is getting herself really frustrated at the moment trying to build a tower of bricks. This has now got to the point of her crying and throwing her bricks down in disgust! I have tried to show her how but to no avail! I remember my sister having stickle bricks when little that stick together and though they would be less frustrating for her. However, I can't find anywhere that will sell them! I want the infant type, rather than the junior if possible but so far I am having no luck. The only site I found (mail order express, recommended by the company that makes them - Flair) but they are out of stock.

Does anyone here know where I can get some?

Thanks
Claire & a thoroughly fed up little girl

We bought some before christmas from Woolies, they were called "Cactus".
I think they were quite cheep. They have written on the box, "Imported by, Paradiso", a Belgiun company. I don't know if they have a website, you could have a look ???

We received Stickle Bricks from Arbon and Watts (Mailorder Express's retail outlet in Grantham and I think somewhere in Leicestershire)for Christmas. However they are actually quite hard to put together and our 17 month old dd hasn't got the knack yet.

Far easier are the basic Baby Lego(used to be called Primo) bricks which stack easily and some also are shaped and rattle. She has been building towers with these for several months.

THanks for the ideas of places to try. I looked on Hamley's website but their search engine didn't find any. I might have a look at some of the similar ideas from ELC too. I really want the infant version as they are larger and easier to use.
