Wii Fit - Anyone got one ? Come and tell me about them please

I need to do some exercise and because of childcare arrangements, its only really possible to do it at home at nap/bedtimes

I've tried a couple of aerobics dvd's, but there's not massive amounts of space in the lounge so that doesn't really work so I'm thinking of getting Wii Fit.

We haven't got a Wii at the moment so would need to get the console and all the other gubbins

Has anyone got one ? Are they worth it ? Is it going to sit in the bottom drawer gathering dust after two uses ? What do they actually do ? [clueless emoticon]]

OMG I've just tried the boxercise for the first time; it's amazing!

Great fun, and as you get more advanced you unlock levels for new games or harder progressions of the exercises. Also good for motivation as it tracks your progress.

I want one... NOW.. Amazon out of stock. Any other ideas ?? Please ?

Is there a Game near you? The man in our one today said the company are getting 10,000 Wii Fit's in stock next week. Might be worth a try

The stock checker site here is the place you want to look for stock availability at rrp (70 quid). Got ours from Tesco.com last week thanks to that site, I know other people who paid over 100 pounds via ebay/amazon silly sods.

Yoga, muscle exercises as well as the more fun aerobics / balance games - all good.

under NO circumstances buy anything from a company called zavvi direct. i ordered a wii fit from this company and it is a scam.the police are investigating this and over 600 people have been ripped off so no wii fit and 70 quid down the drain

a Wii Fit package went last night for £250. It was typed wii+wiifit+5games+remotes etc. There were no bids on it until it closed, when someone snaffled it for the opening bid. I was too chicken to bid on it as the seller only had one feedback score since April 06 so I was a bit about it, but if you pay through paypal and can get buyer protection (I'm not sure if the seller needs to have more than 50 feedbacks or if you can buy it) it might be worth it.

I am slightly kicking myself about that one today. I have decided to wait until Christmas now, otherwise I would not be sharing this with you

I got mine via the stock checker from Tesco on Friday.

Although Tesco completely ballsed up the order and we didnt get it till Thursday afternoon and should have had it on Monday

The wii fit is great, although I ache from head to toe now
